Acer Announces Aspire S3 Ultrabook

Acer was the latest company this week to announce the launch of its new Ultrabook platform in the form of the Aspire S3. A lot of companies have recently set their sights on the new form of computing devices ever since Intel had announced the Ultrabook funding. Incase your not familiar with the term, an ultrabook is a similar to a notebook, but with a reduction in the bulkiness and an increase in the power.

The ultrabook features a 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and it measures just 0.51 inches thick and will be available with a choice of Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. Other noteworthy features include the SSD (Solid State Drive).

The devices will go on sale next month for a price of 799 Euros.
